In recent years traditional manufacturing machines such as vertical millers, centre lathes, shaping machines, and routers which are operated by a trained engineer have, in many cases, been replaced by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.
At Dienamics we believe that CNC machinery is one of the keys to effective prototyping.
One of the big benefits of CNC machinery is that through advanced CAD and CAM software they can be programmed with a unique design which can then be manufactured to the exact same spec, hundreds or even thousands of times.
CNC machines can also work much faster than human machinists, as they are faster, stronger, and do not need to take breaks. This allows for a much more efficient manufacturing process and ensures that your prototype is always delivered on time.
What’s more with improved automation, which in many instances, removes the need for an operator, means that the design process is more cost effective for us and ultimately our clients.
I was impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of the team, at Dienamics. The people I spoke with were approachable and extremely cooperative in helping to find effective solutions and a working final product. The timing, drawings, price and product were all excellent. The drawings and the tool have both proved to be useful in our research work here in Chemical Engineering at The University of Queensland.
